Design/illustration/branding/wayfinding strategy
Working closely with DLA Architects, we've recently completed phase one of our wayfinding project for Oaklands College Welwyn Garden City campus. We focused on the recently developed LRC block. This phase included a mix of hand-drawn murals and formal informative graphics and maps.
OAKLANDS COLLEGE WALL ART PHASE 2
Phase 2 of our environmental graphics project involved creating engaging graphics for six meeting booths in the main open plan area. These are small areas for 2-3 students to work with a degree of privacy. Oaklands felt the graphics here should be linked with key curriculum subject matter.
We decided to base the graphics on six GCSE level maths problems, with a mural illustrating the concept, along with inspirational quotes. A panel on the outside of the booths provided more detailed instructions, along with a weblink to find the solutions.
